Kola NPP has a ski complex - a facility situated on "Bald Mountain" 10 km away from Poliarnye Zori (or 5 km away from Kola NPP) - the favorable recreation zone of the local residents. Come down from the mountain at a breathtaking speed is an experience you will never forget. You feel yourself a real victor!

Up to 500 people can ski there at one time. The local hotel can accommodate up to 50 people. Due to the modern artificial snowing system, you can ski there from Nov till May.

You can get there by bus from Poliarnye Zori every day (except Monday) free of charge.

The complex offers you the following services:

• five ski tracks of different complexity;
• hotel, car parking;
• café and bar;
• ski rent center.

The Northern Slope is 240 metes high, the South-Western one – 270 meters.

The Northern track is 1,200 meters long, the South-Western one – 1,400 meter.

Two slopes have an artificial snowing system, one of them is for mogul (800 m).

South-Western, Eastern and Wood slopes have natural snow cover.

The main track has illumination.

The complex regularly hosts ski events of municipal and regional levels as well as exercises by Russian and foreign sportsmen. The complex has a children’s ski center.

The prices:

1 descent:

• 30 RUR for adults
• 15 RUR for children
• 1 hour of skiing is 100 RUR
• 1 day is 350 RUR.

Rent:

• 400 RUR/day for ski equipment,
• 500 RUR/day for a snowboard.
